I studied Art at Goldsmiths College, specialising in Film and Photography. Then I worked in the Animated Film industry, making films for entertainment, advertising and information. After that I taught Art in Secondary Schools, up to A level, and in an Adult Education College. During this period I continued with my own personal work in photography and art.

In 2008 I began painting full time, and have taken part in many Exhibitions and Open Studios, mainly in London, but also in Canterbury and Brighton.

Since 2016, I have been on the Committee of a large local Art Society, being the main organiser of Exhibitions at local venues, and more recently was involved in the creation of an online website and exhibition.
